I just want to first say Im not a hair geek, I want to ask a question about thinning the hair.
When I worked in the salon, the hairdressers there used those thinning scissors.
But the hairdresser I have always been to, just uses scissors and sort of cuts into the ends. I prefer this, as the other way doesnt seem to work (well with my hair anyway, I used to end up with really short bits here and there, and it didnt seem to take the thickness away)
I just wondered (sorry im nosey! hehe) which way everyone prefers/does? And why?
