Hi
Could any one tell me if you have to have a certificate in Threading to be able to offer as a treatment.
I have someone interested in doing threading in my salon on a commission basis, which I think would be quite good, but I do not think that she has a certificate as she is self taught, she has beeen doing it for herself for about 5 years, and she has insurance as a mobile therapist, I am just not sure if she would be covered for the threading.
Does anyone know anything about this as I am new to threading!!!
Thanks:eek:

ask for a copy of her insurance certificate, if its not on there ask her why not. If she does other hair removal ie qualified in waxing, it may be included in that. I had my nails painted the other day in a mall that did threading, and the girl said it was just included as part of her waxing.

Ok thanks for replying, she did say that her insurance covers her for hair removal via wax and plucking and therefore should cover her for threading, I was just a bit concerned about it. Thanks

why not ring YOUR insurance company up and ask them if they are OK with it?
