I am looking into waxing training, I'm a beginner, can anyone recommend a trainer? All my research points to Kim Lawless but I live in Yorkshire, is it worth travelling to her or are there equally good trainers around Yorkshire/north of England? Thanks

Waxperts! Sweet Squared are the UK distributor and they have a training academy in Leeds [emoji171]

Thanks, I'll have a look

Have a look at flirties wax training I know the trainer does one to one training in that area[emoji12] you train in strip wax (cream wax)and non strip wax(hard wax)

I would recommend the Waxu ladies for training! The girls are brilliant and they travel to you which is extremely handy. Not to mention the brand is fab- the best wax I've used in my salon! I would 100% give them a try for best results

I would say it's worth traveling to Kim lawless, myself and all my team have been on her Hollywood courses - I had wasted money on others myself, so learned the hard way. Xx

I travelled from Liverpool to train for 2 days with Kim, having already wasted several hundred pounds training somewhere more local to me in the north west. Kim's training is in a different league.

Julie Bowes in Rotherham- Yorkshire. She is an amazing trainer and a sub Distributer for Norma de Durville Uk and Epiloderm. Norma De Durville is traditional waxing and Epiloderm is specialist waxing. Both are film based waxes offering a lot of flexibility and comfort for your clients. It's a brand that was slouched in September and is rapidly growing across the UK. Many are switching over as neither waxes are effected by climate which makes them perfect for using in the summer months.

Recently heard a lot of buzz surrounding Waxu so decided to put my girls on the training course. They absolutely loved it! The ladies doing the training were great, very knowledgeable and extremely keen to help in any way possible. As we are very busy, I thought it was fantastic that they are willing to travel to you for training, making it very easy for us! Give them a try ladies, they will not disappoint!

Just looked at the Waxu website but it seems to be for the more experienced? Says you need a level 2 beauty to go on course and looks like they only train in intimate? I'm doing the speed waxing course and intimate course with Kim Lawless this Tues and Wed. Very nervous as I'm a complete beginner but also looking forward as I've heard such great things. Staying in a hotel overnight which should give me a nice break from the kids[emoji3]
