Hi Guys,

Currently have a client who has been having full head bleach the for the past 6 months and is around about a level 9 or 10. She is about a base 6 naturally and has about half an inch of root. Shes decided she wants something low maintenance and showed me a picture of an ashy ombre. I've just not long moved salons and haven't really had much experience working with wella and would love someone to guide me in the right direction. The client wants the least amount of warmth possible. I'll attach some photos for you to have a look also a picture of the client ( with her permission) she is the one of the right. . From what I've heard of I would assume I'd be looking at using colour touch?

I'd use 6.0 and 6.37 on her roots iv done a few blondes o BALYAGE with this and it covers lovely! Maybe you could use 9/16 and pastel to tone the ends but that may be well off as I'm not very familiar with toners myself c

I disagree sorry..I think 6 is too dark. I would put 7/1 on the first half of the regrowth then fading into an 8/69 illumina second part of the root.

No problem [emoji3] would the 7.1 cover the blonde without going khaki, not critiquing just curious x

I would use colour touch plus 77/07+77/03. Not too warm but warm enough to not go ashy/khaki and will give better coverage over the blonde with it being colour touch plus.

Hey thank you so much for your reply! Just had a look at 8/69 illumina. As regards to the 7/1 as Peachez7888 has said would it not go greenish? Also what do you suggest using on the ends to tone?

I'd recommend the /71 series in colour touch.

I'd do the root with 1 part 7/81 and 1 part 9/60 with a few cm of 5/81 and 9%.

Then use 8/71 on the midlengths as the lowlights.

I'd add a few babylights in the front also.

No wouldn't go green if you only get it on the very root. I've done this several times and needs to be ashy for blondes.
