What length does hair need to be for extensions????

Hi all I was just wondering what length does ur hair need to be for extensions

On one side my length is over my ear and on the other side it's just above my ear

Ideally your hair needs to be 3 inches long at least x

i usually tell clients that if its fairly long on top i can do so it looks good. if its too short on top you would end up with either bonds showing or a mullet! hope this helps :biggrin:

It has to be seen really to be certain but I agree with the last poster. If there is enough at the top....about 3 inches...then it can be done with care and certain caveats.
I specialise in doing short fittings and have become very competent at getting good results. But it does need care and some forethought.
