Hi everyone

Very shortly I will be doing the Bio Sculpture training. Something in another thread made me wonder what, or indeed if I can charge for people that I am practising my 'art' on. I know it's not fair (well at least in my eyes) to charge full whack for a service that will inevitably be slower than someone with more experience. But that still leaves me wondering what/if I can charge.

Your comments would be most welcome.

I have heard two things:

1) You can charge but make it clear to clients that it is to cover products.

2) You cannot charge but can accept 'tips'.

It is best to check with a company that insures students.

I have 'student insurance' with my current insurance provider.

Yes, just ask them what you are allowed to do. When I was a student, most of us just charged £5 for manicures, £10 for pedicures to cover products.

.... and when I get as far as Bio Sculpture Use....?
