Hello,

I normally use jaguar pre style ergo 5.5 but need to get them repaired after dropping them so looking to replace them for now then use them as a back up.

I'm looking at 3 other jaguar scissors to replace them with, the GT1, jaguart and summer edition. I'm not sure whether to get ones that are good for slice cutting or if that would be awkward when cutting normal (ie one length, fringe ect).

I've read
-Hollow ground and honed (perfect for slice cutting)
-One blade micro serated and one blade hand honed (to help grip wet hair and stop it sliding)

I am saving up to buy more expensive scissors at an event in March and think I'll get a set with each micro serated scissors and honed for slice cutting.

I just really don't know what to do for now my current scissors aren't great for slice cutting but don't want a pair I can't regularly cut with.

Tia xx
