Hi geeks is it really necessary to apply for change of use on your residential home to use it for business if you are only using 2 rooms in the house and the other 7 are all remaining the same?

I would check , councils can be a pain and if someone complains about you running a buisness youd be in trouble.

It depends on your council. Mine told me that as long as it had another use it was ok. So for example, if you are converting a bedroom but you had a bed settee in the room, it could still be used a bedroom and therefore was not a 'cane of use'. Hoe that makes sense. X
