client wants to go from purple to light auburn?

hi i have a client who colours her own hair purple its deepish purple but lighter at roots she now wants to go nearer natural colour which is alight auburn iv explained it wont match perfectly and she understands that but what method would you say is best to do this im worried about damage if i strip it as i think it might take a couple of times to strip i use loreal and ion colours thanks xx

well you need to strip or ask client to shampoo with head and shoulders or clarifying shampoo so that it will fade a bit more, before you commence anything. As that purple shade could interfer with the underlying pigment of her natural base shade.

Make sure you price her at least a colour correction, because obv without knowing what her base shade is or how the state of hair is , it will be alot, to ensure you fill the colour back! hths xoxo
