Hi
I'm Nick im 32 from the north East. I joined this site because I have a few questions about Male spray tanning, and waxing.

Firstly its the tanning thing that gets me a bit curious. I'm quite a hairy man so will all that need to go before you can get a spray tan.? ( makes me eyes water just thinking about it )

Also I know that a few of you have sprayed tanned naked men before. How popular is this? I'm intrested in a spraytan but never thought it would be allowed to be done naked. I've never done it cos I didn't see the point of having a tan when you have underwear on which can leave white lines ( Areas ). I can get white areas in the natural sunlight.

If you ease my curiosity i'd be much greatful.

Yes there are beauticians who will spray tan naked males! there are several posts on this. But be aware a few will automatically think you are a pervert just for asking..even tho they will happily spray naked females! Very sexist in my view.. but there are a few men who think that a salon weather home based or high street will offer extras even tho the internet is full of sites offering just what there looking for!! these guys ruin it for genuine male clients:smack be straight forward and say you are looking for a full naked body tan and you are no pervert. I think that if a salon offers male waxing esp back sack and crack they are more likely to tan you naked, they do this where I go, as for being waxed no you don't have to be waxed unless you like the smooth look.. they will spray in an upwards direction, the air and pressure from the gun will then lift up the hairs as they spray the tan, but its up to you.. some people will go straight from being waxed to being tanned some will give it 24 hours for the skin to recover. Waxing by the way isn't that painful.

Female therapists do not automatically think that all males wanting treatments are perverts at all!
Obviously there are the genuine clients out there and the not so genuine. Which is why you will find some of us that just don't treat men. It is a shame but this is the way the world is now days. We are not willing to put ourselves at risk from the not so genuine. So not 'sexest' as you put it!
A female spraying a female does not compare really does it.

Hi Nick,

You won't have to get rid of your hair to be able to have a spray tan. Your therapist will just adapt their technique.
You are more likely to get a naked tan at a salon than from a mobile therapist. If you just explain that this is what you would like when you call and book.
I do think that men seem to like being sprayed naked more than women. So it is popular with the male clients!

The only thing I would say is to have a shave (face) the day before.

Theres just no need, theres hardly anything to the disposables anyway but they keep dignity for the client and the tanner.
Personally i think its going too far and unprofessional. But thats just my view. I wouldnt do it and i wouldnt expect to be asked. Y do you need ya bits sprayed anyway?:irked:

I did say that a FEW will think it. I did not suggest ALL would and in my opinion the therapist who will are gems. I have done many a search on here and there are a lot of rants about men who want naked treatments this is what I have found, so I was being very concise in my reply
I did also say that there are some men out there who think that they will get extras and also like telephoning salons to get a kick out of shocking and getting a reaction and that these men ruin it for all us genuine male clients. and they deserve a good slap so I don't think I'm being rude.

Going on to the waxing I did say that Nick didn't have to get waxed except if he liked the smooth look and was offering advice if he did e.g. tanning straight after or leaving it 24 hrs
So once again I offer my apology's for any offence caused.

waxing straight before a spray tan would be a contra diction to the spray tanning so you would have to be waxed at least 24 hours before you had a spray tan done, yes some therapists will be happy to do a spray tan with a male who is naked but to be honest wearing male thongs and moving them slightly throughout tan would ensure no major tanning lines.

Im sorry, but how ignorant.
To say it keeps the dignity for both the client and therapist is ridiculous. If a client wants to be naked its up to them-it therefore is only 'protecting' YOUR dignity-which doesnt make any sense.
How is it unprofessional to spray a naked person??? Most people have spray tans so they are not left with white bits. At the end of the day its just a body-theres nothing embarrassing about it.
Do you therefore think that having a hollywood wax is unprofessional???

Its not ignorant, at the end of the day its personal preferance not ignorane . I wasnt in my training to offer naked tanning i was toldnot to do it so therefore i dont do it. And its also my personal preferance, i dont really want peoples bits in my face.
Im not embarresed about it either i worked in nursing for 3 years and have seen enough naked bodys to last me a life time.

Im sure other technicians will do it and others who wont. And like said in an other post maybe in a salon but not mobile its just far to personal for my liking.
No hollywood waxing is different altogether really isnt it? Thats a service for ya bits. U wouldnt have one with your knickers on. and i dont do waxing. I offer tanning with hair nets and disposable thongs and thats my routine.
I think everyone as the right to say weather they will or wont, personally its not for me , Fair enough maybe unprefessional was maybe the wrong word to use. But i think sometimes you have to draw a line to what you will and wont do, as you could make your self open to oppitunists who will take advantage ofthe fact hate to use the words (pervert) as im not getting at that soley. But working mobile you have to keep your self safe. And all it will take is one (pervert) to catch drift that you are offerning the service naked and take advantage of the situation ,and thats a scary thought. Maybe im being extreme but when your working mobile you have to look at the bigger picture.
i didnt mean to offend therapists who do, but each to their own. And i hope the OP finds a thearipsit finds someone whos willing to do it

Heya , i wasnt calling you a perv hun honestly i was just saying that form a tehnicians point of view when working mobile, sumone dodgy somewhere is always a lurking and by doing naked tans especially males you open your self up to opportunists.......and believe me people will try, its a sad world out there and not one i wish to be part of better to be safe than sorry. So you have to say no to everyone cant have one rule for one and one for another.In a salon tho then i dont see why not safety in numbers. Im sure your a loverly bloke and i wasnt directing that at you just in general of why i dont do it, and i think its a perfectly plausable reason. You advertise your self to do something someone could take the wrong way then you open ya self to some potential tricky moments.

Also can i just run this by you, isnt white bits main sign of a real tan?? :green: everyone gets a white bum on holiday ,and im sure if you get lucky they will have white bits too. :lol: You want your spray tan to look real, the best bit about a spray tan is looking at your white line , my clients love to see the comparison.
ANYWAY

Also dont mean to sound crude but you will have to ask another technician about this , but as in on yer bits..........i would ask if the colour develops the same as the rest of the body id imagine you would go much darker and the fade off is important ,for obvious reasons i could imagine things just going patchy as the skins just not the same in these regions. id check it out tho and ask techniians who have had feed back on this ,as you could end up with just a patchy mess and wishing youd left your bits white.

I'm not offended. I totally agree with what you say. I was even suprised to hear that they did naked tanning. Now I know they do I want one.

It is a shame that some men spoil it for the genuine men that want naked spray tans to get that tanned look and feel good about it.
I will have to take advise first about those points you made about the delecate areas and the tanning around them.

If I were you I would just wear a thong, the disposable ones won't hold much in anyway! You don't want to spray your penis as it's not going to tan as it's, lets face it, a sweatier area and it is probably not a good idea to get it on your delicate bits anyway but I can understand your bum cheeks, in a thong the therapist can just pull it to the side to get you an all over tan.

By the way your tan won't last as long if you are in and out of the pool all the time, you need to rinse well after a swim and you may need to top it up with a daily tanning moisuriser. Also don't forget to wear sunblock as the tan will provide no sun protection.

The previous poster is right , and the thongs dont cover much but they cover the areas that dont really need to be tanned the thong can be situated where you wont be left with a tan like. And youd be best taking a tan extander with you to maintain you tan.

However i provided a link of the thongs to show you what there like and you will see there is nothing to them, its just a bit more hyginic and professional (in my opinion)

Anyway i will let you be and hope some one comes through soon for you i rekon youd be better approaching a salon :green:

Definitely keep searching there are people who spray men naked.
I am mobile and dont offer treatments for men for reasons of my own, but if it were a friend /husband of a client I would (and i have) and would happily spray them naked.
In my experience with the few men I have sprayed, that area doesn't fade any worse than any other area.
Do persevere with your search as someone will gladly spray you and not think anything of it.

I spray tan naked men and women. I'm a professional and that's my job!
Some people want an all-over tan. Think body builders, strippers, porn stars and your regular Joe Average.
I don't know why people have such a hang-up about it-it's just a body!
If you feel uncomfortable doing it, then don't but don't think there's anything sleazy or unprofessional about those of us that do do it.
I wax scrotums, butts, vaginas and penises so spray tanning them is a doddle.
I actually call them by their proper names as well and not 'your bits'. That just sounds so unprofessional to me!
I have had male waxing clients who have been to places before to get an intimate wax and the therapist has used a towel to cover them up and then moved the towel around to wax a bit at a time. How ridiculous and unprofessional as well as making the poor guy feel very uncomfortable.
I hope you find yourself a good professional therapist who will put you at your ease.
