I trained locally in carxdiff using.marvel lash. Both the training and product i found rubbish so i kept practising. I've done Set a day from the last couple months. I use eyelashe emporium glue, mink strip lashes from eyelash emporium and from lash base.

These are a o.15 J 13, 11, 9, 7 mm. Xxx

Wow, your lashes are STUNNING!!! You should be really proud.

I specialise in lashes and trained in Oct 2007 and am very busy with them, a few things I will say.

That other ladies lashes are total crap and she should not be charging for lashes. That's work I'd expect from someone doung their case studies.

How long is a set like that taking? They look really full so you should be charging at least £70 for them. Maybe you should do a not so full set for £45 - 50 and call it a basic set or mini set.

It's always easy to bring your prices down but harder to put your prices up so don't start too low.

Sometimes people will want more lashes. Time is money, so I always explain in a nice way, "To get a thicker look means putting more lashes in which takes more time so it will cost more." Clients are fine with that.

I know you will want to give everyone full lashes to begin with, but it's a business so it's important to work out your prices and how long to spend on lashes.

The other thing I'd advise is switching to B curls, then trying C curls. I did a post about lash curls here.

http://www.salongeek.com/skin-geek/107390-eye-lash-extensions-what-curl.html

I also did a few long threads about lashes ages ago so feel free to have a read.

Good luck x

Aw thank u so much

I also use c curls... I like using them but on this girls lashes i opted for a j. Her face i felt would suit them better.

I have got b curls but haven't used them As yet. Maybe ill grab my mum this week.

I do waxing, tinting, hair extensions but i love doing the eyelashes the most.

What i need now Is someone to do mine! :) Im not opting for lady with the barely there lashes x

Have to agree with the others, your lashes look amazing and I would be very happy if I received a set like that but as for the other photo! I have just done me lash extension course and my first case study and it looks like the other picture (pants) - not a professional or chargeable set of lashes in my opinion. Well done and good luck x :green:

How many lashes are on your ones? x

They look fab!

70 each about if i remember right for this set xxx

love them really want to get in to lashes now i've seen this

Hi PP, your pics are really good, much better than what I'm doing and I've just started to charge :-(

Mine end up a bit clumpy at the bottom, how do you get yours so individual and not sticking together, any advise? Do you seperate whilst glue tacky or comb through once dry after each lash.....?

I would def pay for yours, but I'm now thinking maybe I should carry on practicing and not charge yet!!!

Thanks

Sophie

Lashes look fab. You've said what lengths you've used but not what frame you used? Any more info would be great x

Ooooh I feel amateur now lol. what do you mean by frame??

The frame is where you place the lashes ie 5 lashes x 9mm inner corner, 10 lashes x 11mm centre, 10 lashes x 13mm outer corner and fill the gaps with 8mm. Hope that explains what I mean x

i used 9, 11, 13, 15... for this particular set i cant remember the amounts now... ill keep count on ny next set xx

Think they look fab!- can you explain how you apply them?/ all the different sizes?- do you fill gaps with small lashes?. I have mine applied and she applies 11's all along- yours look more natural. I do EE too but sometimes seem to get lashes stuck together at base of lash- think it could be too much glue maybe?. Any advice greatly appreciated xx
