To all hairdressers out there, I don't know what to do with my hair!

It is naturally light brown with natural red highlights and very curly.
I have it dyed medium brown at a salon every 8 weeks, and after 6-7 weeks, the top layers are nearly all red, but my length is still medium brown!

I know I have a natural red tint in there, but is there any way to stop this happening as it is so annoying?

Also, I wanted some blonde highlights to be put in but when a test strand is done, this turns red too.

Any help on what to do and to why this is happening? Thanks xx

no-one??

It sounds like your colour is fading on the top and allowing your natural tones to show. There are a number of solutions to this problem, so it is worth talking to your stylist about it.
Use pureology shampoo and cond etc to stop it fading so quick.
Have a tint with a lower vol peroxide to prevent lift
Use an ash brown semi every 4 weeks to kill the red (green ash) rather than continual tint which makes the problem worse.

Brilliant. Thankyou :)
