Hair extension start-up costs

Hey folks,

I'm toying with ideas to earn an extra income while doing something different from my regular job. I've been having a look at doing hair extensions and wanted some idea of the costs involved in working mobile doing this and what the actual profit margin is (not what the training companies say it is). Also, where do you get insurance from and how much is this?

Any other pros, cons or tips welcome.
