Weve recently purchased some hot stones but there are different to the ones I trained with . I trained with the shiny smooth stones and these are basalt ? Are in a uniformed shape ( soap like) and are not shiny more kind of volcanic ? ! Are there different types of stones or have I been sold some did stones ? All help much appreciated.

they just need to be "marinated" if thats the word ... in some nice oils to give them a nice heat retaining property, drizel them in oil over night and they will be lovley to work with i prefer un-uniform stone anyhow more like the natural hand
