How long for this please?

A client has acrylic extensions on fairly long with shellac on
Wants infills and colour change
How long would that take you please

Can you break down your timing for me please

Removal of shellac 15 mins

Shorten/reshape 10 mins

Prep 5 mins

Infill with new l&p 6-7 mins

Refine with file/buffer 5 mins

Apply new shellac 15/20 mins

= 1 hour give or take a few mins

(I have been doing this 13 years lol. If you can perfect your l&p application so there's no lifting, it's simple to just infill, shaping with your brush so hardly any filing afterwards. x

I didn't have any lifting
I all nails intact
Just I think I spend too much time on prep
I mean I had to apply cuticle remover
Push back cuticles remove cuticles remove cuticle remover then buff then get all my stuff out
I apply the l and p and it only needs a quick file then I just probably faff about

I'm worried about hurting people or not doing enough prep etc etc

Oh ok, it was the bit about getting all your stuff out that made me say that, because that can be time consuming. Mines already out and to hand on my trolley

You're right not to skip prep for the sake of a few minutes
