If I wanted to put beads in a beard, how could I secure them so that they wouldn't fall off? It's difficult to use an elastic since the amount of hair is quite small.
What I'm trying to do is something like this, but I'm not sure how they are secured:

Ideas?
Thanks!

If your beard is similar in length to the Brad Pitt's images above
1. I would find some very fine pipe cleaners
2. I would dye them to match the beard colour
3. I would string the beads on the pipe cleaner and secure one end as close to the chin as possible and anchor the other end to the end of the beard you might have to take a few strands rather a single hair.

Hope this works!

Get some plaiting bands from a saddlers/online horse shop. They are teeny tiny elastic bands
