Hi, I have had my nails filed too thin and they are extremely painful. Can anyone advise on correct action to take to help grow nail and ease pain in the mean time?
Much appreciated :)

Cut as short as you can and oil oil oil. OPI Nail Envy is also great.

You should cut your nails short, and avoid any nail enhancements for the next 4-6 months. Allow them to heal and the damage to grow out. This filing has damaged the protective barrier on your nails, If you show ANY sign of an infection, get to your doctor immediately. Wash your hands often, apply diluted tea tree oil several times a day, and use an antibacterial ointment at night. Protect your nails from any additional trauma, avoid damaging chemicals, keep your nails short. You might try CND Rescue RX, Solar Oil, or Dadi' Oil (maybe CB Dadi' Oil!). You might also add a daily biotin supplement. You can take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for the pain.

And never, ever go back to that nail tech again!!
