My Mum used Oriflame years ago and I remember it being quite nice but expensive, it was marketed as kind of exclusive but no idea now.

Avon, I have never ever been a fan of but I think that is now the pro in me that would say no to Avon, selling or using.

I guess to make some money you have to weigh it up.

depends if you want to be seen as professional or domestic, how do you wish to be seen ?
Why not find a product that has some professional credibility ?

Yes there would be no reason i can see that you wouldnt be able to do your own product/pamper parties using and selling your own professional products.Ask your supplier if you have one, for advice and promotional material and devise your own party plans.

Exactly

Spiezia Organics has an "at home" side to it, and at least it's a professional standard product.
Look at all the other MLM schemes before settling. Have you considered Arbonne? (I don't know what the rewards are like with Arbonne though, they may be awful!)

I qualified as a Beauty specialist 10 years ago, and came across Mary Kay Cosmetics, I have been using them pretty much ever since. The products are good, medium priced and have given me a product that I have been proud to be associated with. As with all Direct sales companies what you put in will relate to what you get back in return. My customers love the products and definiteley appreciate the personal touch they get knowing that they have a consultant at the end of a phone able to help them with any skin care/make-up questions. I have also had a succesful number of years using the Mary Kay make up in my Bridal make overs. The Brides all say that they have been pleased with the way that the cosmetics feel and the way that they have lasted.
If you want any info sending out to you I'm happy to send you some literature and some samples. email me at [email protected]:)

Hiya, I'm a freelance hairdresser and I do oriflame on the side and love it. I started doing Avon a few years ago but had no benefit from that. A friend gave me an oriflame catalogue a few months ago and I really liked the look of the products so thought I'd just be a rep myself. I get alot of orders from people, they aren't 'cheap' products, they are reasonably priced but far from being tacky or whatever people might expect. I have a couple of ladies who have been using Clarins and lancome and who now buy oriflame and they love it.
You do need to put a bit of work into it to earn money but that's the same with anything! All I do is let my clients have a look through the catalogue whilst doing their hair and give them a few samples (which cost between 8p and 12p) and let the products speak for themselves :)

Where abouts are you located?
Good luck if you decide to do it :)

Yes, Mary Kay is enpar with AVON in the US and seems popular amongst what I call the housewife brigade.

Again it would be something for regular customers but they don't let you use it in the salons, not that many pros would but I have heard of two agents selling in in a salon and getting their hands slapped as it is not for "proffesional" use.

The biggest bonus for Mary Kay reps at the top of their game, and I mean top is the pink cadiallac they give you!
