What % splits do salons / thereapist / stylist that are self employed generally agree on?

Usually 40-60 in Salon’s favour with products or 50-50 or 60-40 in stylists favour without products xx

Also consider a set daily or weekly rent.
In hairdressing, the daily fee is roughly equivalent to the price charged for a standard cut/blow dry.

With a set rent, both the salon owner and the therapist/stylist know exactly how much to budget for and the salon owner as landlord, is entitled to be paid whether or not the therapist/stylist turns up.
