Finally getting round to getting a website.

Got the name of a guy called Any from this site who has very kindly offered to do my site for me.

Just wondering how much you all paid to get a website made up for you.

I have no clue as to the general price for a website.

Sam

I designed my website myself using Microsoft Frontpage, I uploaded it to my free webspace (included in my package with my internet provider) I then paid £8 inc vat for the domain name for 2 years.
Yes it took a long time to do....
Yes I can make changes as often as I like....
Yes it did pee me off at times......
But I'm very proud of my site and it does work for me!
So the price of a website can vary alot, shop around and it all depends on the space you need and what facilities you need your site to have.
Good luck with the website
Feel free to PM me if you need any more help

Jo, you should put your prices up! xx

Well you gotta start somewhere! That is the average price for my neck of the wood! Oh and I do still take a long time!

I take it you have been taking alook at my website! :D
It has really done well for me but its taken alot of work.

I got mine for free as my other half is designing/developing it should be finished by the weekend cant wait!
He normally charges about £50 for a flash website for a small business but he said the going rate is a few hundred if he did it thru work and not on the side at home.
