When clients call products/treatments a wrong name does it annoy you?

For clients it doesn't matter if they don't know what a particular product is called or what it does in detail. The professional is there to inform and advise, however as with my previous comment I think it is shocking that there are professionals out there that can't name their own products.

Sometimes it's not the professionals fault. We have so many stylists say things like ' I trained with koleston colour' they don't know what wella is, colour touch etc. I don't think badly of them it's just how they were trained.

Come on geeky peeps, lighten up!! It's not about making out or thinking clients are stupid! This thread is how clients might mispronounce treatments in a funny way, not in a derogatory one! So back to it!!...... I had a client who always called liquid & powder "porcelain nails!" Where do they get it!? It makes me chuckle!!

I know full well most 'clients' wouldn't be in here reading all these pointless threads and working out where everyone of us works or what businesses we all have. I do hope some of them read the intimate waxing horror story threads to help those that have to suffer the stench.

It was just meant to be a bit of banter to see what your clients in your area call certain treatments and products!!! I do educate my clients thanks.... I did say that in my post? Most of you misread that bit!! Obviously!

I don't know what goes on here but I've read some of the other threads on here regarding clients and I've seen shreds ripped off some 'clients' so this isn't the first post about clients!!

Every single time I post anything it gets taken the wrong way!! It's like being back at school. I'm clearly not the 'popular' one again. Cos if one of the more well known geeks had written this post it would be getting laughed at and made into a bit of fun... Because it's me I'm the worst person ever for slagging off the people who pay my bills!!! When it was never ever intended to be that way!! Sorry to anyone I've offended. But Cheers everyone. You kno how to make me feel good.... Again!!!

Yes some have taken it the way intended but a lot really havnt. I just wanted to make a bit of a post where we could share experiences. But again it just gets taken the wrong way.. I'm not sure if it's the way I write things. It's quite hard not to take some things personally sometimes.
