When do you do sparkle coat on Shellac?

like say grapefruit sparkle on top of a colour ?

After first coat and then top coat or do you do two colour coats then sparkle then top?

I would do:
base coat + cure
2 coats of chosen colour + cure
1 coat of grapefruit sparkle + cure
Top coat + cure

Grapefruit sparkle is quite a gentle effect. You might want to have a look at Shellac Ice Vapour which gives a very definite silver glittering to the chosen colour. It has a bit more wow factor, i think.

I was just wondering if some people applied it after only one colour coat , treating the sparkle glittery coat as the second colour coat
