    Waxing graze

So I've been waxing and tinting this girls eyebrows for years, then all of a sudden she got badly grazed from the wax, I found out since that she had been using retinol eye cream, that she didn't think to mention to me. It's been 6mths now since this has happened and she wants to try again...

    Allergic reaction to eyelash tint

So a client of mine has suddenly had an allergic reaction to eyelash tint, it wasn't extreme but enough to give us both a scare. She had a patch test which was fine, and first treatment, there was no problem, 6 weeks later she wanted them tinted again, but didn't tell me she had covid in...

Hi guys, I've a client who uses environ moisturisers, she's on level 3 at the minute, and I'm just concerned about her continuing with her facial waxing, Ive been reading up and trying to find an answer but to no avail. Patch tests regarding Covid 19

Hi guys, I've been hearing lately that some people have been having allergic reactions since having covid 19, just wondering are all you beauty therapists asking everyone that's had it to get another patch test for eyelash/eyebrow tints again? Even though they've been getting them for years🤔 I'm...

    Back wax

Thanks do much for your detailed reply, I will defiantly look into some of these waxes. The guy was nice enough, but he was annoyed that it happened, and so am I, it must have been because he was sweating on holiday that the reaction happened, cause he didn't have that reaction to the patch test.

    Back wax

Aww it's too late now anyway this happened a month ago, it's just still playing on my mind! He said some of the spots had wee white heads on them, and it was a bit itchy. I just would hate for this to happen to anyone else, it's made me wery of waxing backs now

    Back wax

He went on holidays 3 days later, he says he did follow all the aftercare. He did say say he was wearing a backpack for long time and sweating a lot, so this is the only reason I can see as to why this happened. Surely he couldn't of been allergic to the wax after me doing a patch test on 3...

    Back wax

I had a guy come to me looking to get his back waxed, so I did a patch test on his back and told him to come back in 48hrs if he had no problems, he had no reaction and i did the back wax a few days later. He went on holidays and text me to tell me his back came out in red spots and couldn't...

    Lash lifts

Hi guys, all new to lash perming here, just wondering if someone had quite long lashes but wanted a dramatic lift, would you use small eyelash curlers on them? The girl in question had a lash perm done before in another salon and didn't get the lift she wanted, I don't want to disappoint now...

    Fake tan for face

Most oily skins are a result of using too strong and overly astringent products, which in turn make the skin produce more oil! Sounds crazy but I used to suffer from very oily skin too. You need to hydrate your skin, i found using hyaluronic acid and niacinamide products a life saver!
