Extension gurus... I have a lady the wants nanos. At my training they said you need double the amount of strands for nanos as what you would for micros. However, if the strands are the same weight is that correct?

I trained with Belle a few weeks ago and am only at the beginning of an NVQ L2 in Hairdressing so don't have a huge amount of stylist knowledge. I have done 2 friends so far and they loved it. Can someone explain the difference between nano rings and tiny tips for me? Have been researching but not finding much out. Are tiny tips smaller copper tubes?
