More nanos?

Extension gurus... I have a lady the wants nanos. At my training they said you need double the amount of strands for nanos as what you would for micros. However, if the strands are the same weight is that correct?

Because nanos are naturally heavier than a normal i tip extension. Whether they weigh 0.8 or 1 gram, the tip and metal/plastic is heavier than a normal tip so that means less hair on the strand. But its not a great big deal, maybe one pack-two packs more if anything. Double is just an exaggeration.
