I do the same hun..base coat, then white which I neaten up if needed with Nailfresh, then pink over the whole nail, then top coat. The Nailfresh does remove a small amount of the base coat but it's never noticable at the end..is yours leaving noticable marks? xx

Encapsulated rhinestones/crystals don't go dull, just do a cracking job on the finish :wink2:. Imo Swarovski crystals look miles better than any other gems in L&P or sealed with topcoat, fantastic sparkle!

Definitely not for free! If she's a good customer then perhaps a discount..but that's it. You have to be firm :wink2: xx

I use two methods. I either encapsulate in clear L&P or use nail glue to fix diamonte to the nail/enhancement and then apply a top coat which I advice clients to repeat every few days.

This is a tricky one....I did my original training with CND and then went to college one day a week for 2 years to get NVQ levels 2 & 3 in Nail Services (yes there was a lot of 18-19 year olds, half of which dropped out :rolleyes: but there were also some more mature ladies like me ;))...

Hi, it costs me £8.38 with Virgin to run my "work phone". Nothing very fancy as it's more for customers to ring me. I take it with me wherever I go and I know when it rings it's a customer not family or friend :wink2:

hmmmm.. imo I wouldn't encourage clients to remove thier enhancements, you have trained to do it and can remove them without causing damage, I dread to think what state people's nails would be in if they always did it themselves even if you offer a step by step tutorial. If they want good...

hi theresa, the salon owner says they turn away quite a lot of enhancement work because the beauticians who are already there can't fit it in, they are going to keep a record of customers they turn away for the next 2 weeks so I can see. Bookings will be taken for me by other members of staff...
