I have a meeting tomorrow with a salon owner about renting a room, she is looking for £30 a day, and i do my own advertising and supply all my own products etc. Is this good? x
Depends on the area and whether it will bring you much custom.
If it's a busy high class salon in a great situation, then it could pay dividends.
But if it's a dingy first floor back room in a side street then it's way then it's almost double what you would want to pay.
You have to off set the rent against what quantity of clients you will see in a day and what you charge.
If you see eight clients a day and they all pay about thirty pounds or more then you'll still be earning a good wage.
