Hi
Does anyone know where is the best place to do a Acrylic and Gel nail course in London?
:)
Thanks
J

There's a place in Kensington can't remember the name but you should find it on the net. I'm doing one in Windsor which is a little out of west london but not too bad if your the west end. Or 40 mins on train from Waterloo. It's a 1 day course tho so you will need alot of after practice yourself which practice is what it is anyway. They also do courses on a saturday if the week is in appropriate.
beauty courses, nail courses, beauty therapy courses, massage courses, beauty schools, beauty training, beautician courses
They do most courses in Beauty therapy and nails. Also if you get a friend to join you get 25% off. Most nail courses want you to have your city and guilds in manicure and pedicure cert first but i'm not sure about here as it doesn't state. I have mine anyway. After much research this is the cheapest i could find in the area. And is proffessional beauty training school.
Hope this helps

As someone new to nails I'm afraid you need more than a 1 day course...... There is a Creative Nail Academy in London run by Ketan Patel. CND products are top quality and their training is second to none.

Give Sweet Squared a ring on 0845 210 6060 - they run training for CND in the UK and talk to the Education Department, they can advise you.......

Don't opt for 'quick' training, you'll regret it. Have a search on here, there are plenty of geeks who've had poor inital training and most went on to train elsewhere! Do it right first time......

That doesn't sound very professional to me. If you went to university they wouldn't offer a discount from moe students.

Buy cheap, get cheap. Quality training is important, and to get it you have to pay for it.

Hope this helps

Is see what you are saying. If your not doing well or not picking it up they teach you 1 on 1 untill you think you are ready. It is a proffessional and qualified beauty school. Many beauty therapist have reccommended it to me. Only as i do have previous nail experience as i was taught 15years ago but havn't done acrylic since. Thats the reason i'm choosing that place!! I was giving her options but also saying she should have previous nail experience. Such as City and Gulids manicure
I do know local colleges are good as you get to practise over time whilst training.

And when i mean cheap im not talking 50p ya know it's £300 which to me is certainly not cheap! I just think some as ridiculous like a local salon is charging £500 for a week training. Sorry but i'd rather go to a prof beauty school

And I'd rather go to a product manufacturer who knows how their products work inside out and have won industry awards for their training......

And £300 for a single day's course sounds really expensive to me..... The single day Conversion Courses from the major product manufacturers are a lot less than that.....

Thats a good tip for me i'll def look into that for further courses too
Thanks
I have however found courses more than that for a day which is obviously ridiculous. Will look around
