Good afternoon ladies, when does lifting usually occur? Two weeks, three weeks, etc after the nails have been done?? Thanks for the help.

lifting shouldn't really happen at all....if it is properly adhered to the nail then it should stay so.

i know there can be some causes for lifting...picking, nibbling...presure from teath....but if they are looked after then really lifting shouldn't happen.

If there is oil on the nail plate or the prep has not been thorough enough, you will get lifting within 2/3 days, likewise if the l&p has touched the skin.

As Angie says, lifting shouldn't really happen with proper application . . . if they look after them properly, which includes having maintenance when its due. not trying to drag it out to four and five weeks.

If a client wears her nails too long and goes far too long between maintenance you could see some lifting, but this would not normally happen with a well behaved client lol :smack:
