Acrylic ombré nails for short nails

Hey All,

I am uncertain how to create an ombre effect that is not too bold with acrylic while doing a backfill on short nails. This is a request from a client and I am not certain how to achieve this desired look. The client has not provided any examples except, not too bold, and 2 spring colors, and may be open to glitter. I thought if the ombre was at the tips maybe it wouldn't be so bold, but then it is more like a fade of colors.
Do you have any inspirational photos or ideas, or/and ombre nails that have been popular lately?

You could blend and pastel colours and perhaps also marble them
