Advertising/getting clients

hi,
I had a salon for 5 years but sold it 3 years ago when i had a baby. I have just set up a room at home and will go mobile also. I have written to about 300 of my old clients and also have delivered a couple of hundred leaflets last week,to tell them i will be starting back to work on 1st dec, only had one phone call What else do you sudjest i do to advertise? What does everyone else do? Got a website too

I went to a couple of hair dressers that didnt do beauty and said i would give staff half price tans if they would hand out my cards,
popped cards in the local shops, hand them out to anyone you can offer vouchers for xmas fair raffles.
But the main one to get traffic directed to your website, put your advert on every free ad site on the internet, that has bought me the most busines. :hug:
