Hiya!!

I've been self employed as a beauty and holistic therapist for the last couple of years but I have now been asked to run a salon. I just wondered what everyone found was the most effective form of advertising? Need a bit of inspiration!!
Any help would be really appreciated :)

hello hun........
The best form of advertising is word of mouth!! I have never paid for an advert.. i have filled in a few of these free ones on line which are good but you can end up paying out alot and getting nothing back.... Your local newspaper may run a business focus page for new businesses or insights to businesses in the area ... contact them you may be eligable for a free focus interview or something!!

Good luck xx

Hiya,

You've really got 2 ways to get clients.

Free and paid (as if you didn't know that - sorry).

Free ones are things like referral schemes and working with other local businesses.

Paid one are of course ads and stuff.

My best years happen when I do both. You just gotta be really careful to make sure the paid stuff does make money.

Hope that helps a bit.
