Hi, yet again another thread on opening a salon/bar, sorry if you find it a bit long.
Well I have my own premises where I can open up my own nail bar and really would like to take the opportunity and do it as I won't have any rent to pay except electricity and water bills.
I have been doing gel nails for approximately 1.5years now and still building my client base as I am mobile. I want my own nail bar so that I can get my name out there as it's very difficult to build a clientelle being mobile here with only word of mouth and business cards ads at the moment.
If I open it I am planning to spend 4 days at my nail bar and 1 day going to client's houses with sunday off and another day during the week.
I intend to do an L&P course soon so that I'll be able to offer both services to my clients when I open up.
What advice can you give me?
