ahhhhh bbci! I'm going mad!!!

I've watched a few programmes on bbci and most of the time its blighted by it stopping and the stupid 'loading' circle going on.

occassionally I've been lucky enough to watch a programme all the way through but the norm is for it play then every 4-5 minutes pause for about 45 seconds with the stupid circle loading symbol.

tonight I've tried to watch ashes to ashes and its stopping every 60 seconds!!!!!! ahhhhhhh! they could introduce it as a torture trial at guatomano bay!

I even tried downloading real player AND adobe 9 to counter act it, but nothing seems to work.

does anyone have this problem? any way of resolving it?

I'm on vista btw, and my laptop is less than a year old.

What browser do you use?

I use Firefox and watch Doctors on iplayer every day and (touch wood) never had a problem.

don't know what browser I'm using tbh.

Just had to download firefox and flash, but still not working at the moment. It says its transferring info and won't let me do anything.

considering I've been trying to watch this since 9pm, I'm losing the will to live.

right, think my browser is microsoft internet explorer by freeserve.

so watched it on firefox with flash downloaded as requested and the first pause and loading circle went on 10 seconds into the programme and the 2nd pause loading circle 5 seconds later.

don't think I can watch the opening credits ANYMORE!!!! AHHHHHH! (which takes 5 minutes to watch as it stops to load all the time.

please, help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder if it might be just busy - I tend to watch in the mornings.

oooooh progress! just watched 2 minutes and then the bloody circle thing came on again and then again 5 seconds later!

talk about lulling me into a sense of false security.

back to see if I can get another undisturbed 2 minutes, you never know, may get this 60 minute programme watched by a week thursday!

well in 2 hours I have watched 8 mins 47 seconds of the programme.

note to self: watch it on proper TV

It must be something wrong with your PC then because I watched the whole of Waterloo Road today without a problem.

well I read in troubleshooting that it has problems with vista -which I have. but I've watched whole programmes before without a hitch.
