hi guys have you cleaned your salon for the 10th time today waiting for clients!! i have had my own spa for 25 years and have never known it like this!!! we are doing everything poss promotions reward card comp treatments, you name it we are giving it a bash. finding all your coments v usefull and some good ideas to promote buss it is important to stay focused and positive in this difficult time keep up the good work everyone xx

I'm in the process of putting funky Christmas charity cards through my printer adding special offers to the inside and a "signature" from myself and my assistant.

They look quite good but I would recommend cards without glitter as after about 10 the printer rollers get covered in it and won't feed the cards through without a push!

I NEVER have time to do anything like this so I am trying to enjoy it and not think about the money I'm not making. I am doing better than a lot of people but the economic climate is definitely affecting business.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS TO KEEP POSITIVE! When a client asks me how it's going I ALWAYS smile and say its good. I never moan and always steer clear of credit crunch conversations.
