Beauty qualifications

Hi Ladies, I have a salon in Ireland and can't find any info on this question.
I'm hiring and there Is a girl who has applied and is very good at basic beauty treatments ie,tinting and waxing. Only thing is she's not qualified, she was trained in a salon.
Would she be able to work in a salon?

I would check this out really carefully , it's a very grey area I believe they would want some sort of qualification to go on as they wouldn't be able to trust word of mouth that she's ok if that makes sense hth xx

From an insurers point of view, on paper she has no qualifications.
Only way to find out is to ask your insurers but I very much doubt they would cover her. X
