Beauty therapist insurance

Hi all,

I am a level 2 qualified Beauty Therapist wanting to expand the treatments I can offer.

I want to do lash lifting but I am already qualified to do eye treatments such as lash tints.
Do I still need to get a certificate in order to get insured on that particular treatment?

Lash lifting/ lash perming is usually a separate unit if you did an NVQ or VRQ.
So if you didn't study it as part of your level 2 qualification then yes you need to do a day course and obtain a certificate. This way you can add it to your existing insurance cover.
