Wow this is a bit of a how long is a piece of string question.

I suppose you have to make a decision really on what you think you clients are going to want.

Are you just going to offer basic 'french' or would you like to be able to offer 'colour'.

Do you think you'd prefer a soak off gel or a file off gel?

Research how much your going to charge - how much profit you want to make and if you want to go with a 'cheaper' brand or a well known more expensive brand.

I offer 3 different gels (actually 4 now!) to cater for everyones needs.

I offer Calgel and Biosculpture, well known - get asked for a lot, most expensive gels on the market - they are soak off and come in over 80 odd different colours, fab for toes and natural nail overlays as an alternative 'everlasting polish' good too to sculpt with (but not so good over tips due to strength)

I also offer akzentz which is BRILLIANT for sculpts and over tips and toes - good price - not very well known though -doesnt discolour and is strong as an ox.

Last but not least Nail Creations, who have THE MOST LUSHIOUS glitter gels i ever did see and some funky colours too - i just bought the denim which is yummy.

One tip....do your research, see whats popular in your area, dont JUMP into it!
