So far I've used Elchim, Valera, and currently using BaByliss PRO Nano Titanium Volare V1 Full-size.

This Babyliss started out ok, but I'm finding the hottest button is burning parts of hair around clients scalp and I've noticed on mine as well. It only has 2 levels for heat.

I don't pull the hair a lot during blowouts so it can't be that I'm grabbing it to tight at the scalp with the brush so it has to be the dryer.

Lots of talk here on parlux. Never tried them. Do they have more than 2 levels of heat?

Looking for professional dryer that has more than 2 levels of heat. Thank you!

GHD air is fab and I won't use anything else now x

Thank you! x Now I have something to research.

Hate to be that person that bumps threads, but here I go :o

Maybe stylists will be reading over weekend. Thank you geeks!

Another vote for GHD here. Had mine a week and totally love it! Xx

It must be a sign, it was in my dream last night.

Thank you! X And reviews online seem very positive.

I've also got the GHD Air and it's great! :)

I'm a Parlux fan.

A stylist in another salon told me all their GHD dryers had over heated and they kept having to get them replaced under warranty. Sounds like a bad batch or a design fault.
