Best shampoo & conditioner for my hair?

Hi hair geeks,

I was wondering if you could advise what the best products are for my hair?

I've heard that some shop bought stuff does more harm than good?

I'm about to have balayage done to my hair but my hair is very fine & I don't have a lot anymore. So wanted to be using good stuff!

Also heard that you can have protein stuff?

Please help, I would be grateful xx

Your best bet is to speak to your hairdresser and ask them as they can see your hair.
You've heard right I haven't found or heard of a shop bought shampoo that isn't rubbish!
Most professional ranges are very good just as a general recommendation a colour shampoo and conditioner is usually a good option for coloured hair.
Protien shampoos are good if you need them but protein and moisture need to be balanced within your hair so too much protein can cause hair breakage.
Your hairdresser should be happy to help it's difficult to recommend specific products too you without being able to see your hair or feel the condition

Thank you, unfortunately when I asked she wasn't very helpful & just said any keratin shampoo :-/
