Best width for massage couch?

I've had my current (ex-medical ) treatment couch for years. It's right length but I find it too narrow for massage and not being hight adjustable is a real pain. It is fine for the other treatments I do.
I'm going to look at a few today. What width of couches do you ladies use? My treatment room is quite small so I can't get carried away. I just need a good width for hot stone massage.
