So I'm trying to order Bio gel for the new salon I'll be working at, but this is my first time ordering from the Bio website using my own name.

It says on the site that because I'm a new user, I have to purchase a starter kit...

Do I really have to? My old boss was a Bio Educator, and I worked with her for a year and a half. I know how the products work and I know what I'm doing. If I order the starter kit on top of all the colours I already ordered, it's gonna go over my given budget :(

One of the girls in my class didn't buy the starter kit, she was pretty pushy about not buying it, so I think the rep was nice enough to let it slide. She did purchase some products however.

I bought 21 colours, some brushes, a brand new UV lamp even though I already had one. I hope that's enough to let me slide as well.. hehe

I have been practising on all my friends and family. I am thinking about taking a course. Any recommendations?

Best Regards,

LuluLemon..

Hi their
did you do a course with them? as i would love to buy the product myself, i am self empolyed now and where i had worked befor they supplied it. Bio Sculpture say i have to do the course to Order from them?...

Lulu: hmm I don't know anything about UV L&P courses. I can definitely recommend Bio Sculpture or Calgel if you're looking to try out soak off gels :)

Sibel: Not officially. My old boss was an educator so I just learned from her, but I have no official record of being trained because she never gave me any certification. Bio will let you order what you want, but you have to purchase the starter kit and go to training within 6 months (I talked to the rep on the phone today).
