How do you decide on a price for bridal hair?

well i norm charge from £20for a hair up but as the bride needs your complete time iykwim i charge £65 and that includes the trial again with as much time
this is about £10-20 cheaper than my competion for my area x

I charge £80 including a trial.

It is a difficult one to answer this as it does depend on the area and your ability.

I set up a new mobile business last year, I charge £80 for the brides hair NOT including trial which is £65, bridesmaids £55. I insist on a minimum booking of 3 people for a wedding I also charge extra for petrol and travelling expenses I am far from cheap for my area but I do well and get lots of requests. Last year I did 45 weddings and this year it looks as if I am heading towards 60 weddings.

I am a great believer in being ULTRA professional, do NOT put yourself down and if your skills are good then charge a reasonable price for it.

I have an hourly rate and work it out on time taken to do it, for practice and for the day.
