For those of you who offer bridal make up....

How do you set your prices?

I have seen some mua's have the trial and on the day for the bride and then trial and on the day for the bridal party...but I have also seen people break it down a lot more than that, as in, also having an on the day price if no trial has been carried out and things like bridesmaids over 16 and bridesmaids under 16

What do you think is best??

Would you keep it simple to save confusion all round or break it down and have a full make up service menu???

xx

Hi Jenny,

I charge a set price for the bride which includes the trial and on the day. I also have a rate for a trial which takes 1 & 1/2 hours. Bridesmaids/mother of the bride/Prom/special occasion make-up is the same amount which takes 1 hour and I have another rate for day make-up which takes 45 minutes. Bridesmaids & flower girls under 10 are free (bit of gloss & glitter!).

Em x
