Brisa Gel Lamps

Hi there

Any of you out there lucky enough to have a Brisa Gel kit, could you please tell the wattage of the lamp? Just tried to get my kit today, but there aren't enough lamps to go with the kits, so will have to wait another week. The lamp I use for my gels at the moment is 20 wats - don't know if this is comparable to the Brisa Gel lamp. If my lamp is powerful enough I would take a kit minus the lamp.

Hiya Cookie,
Has far as i know, You have to have a brisa lamp thats with the kit to cure the gel. I dont think other lamps are compatable with the system.

yup. Oddly enough, the wattage has little do do with UV emissions.
Some 4w bulbs put out more UV than some 9w bulbs do.
The positioning of the lights and the bulb shape also have a lot to do with UV emissions.
You are asking for problems intermixing lights. More should be in this week
