Brown eyeliner?

Do you often use a brown eyeliner on clients? What about brides? I mostly use black but ive a bride wanting brown liner with golden brown eyeshadow? Any tips for this look?

I use brown or grey on clients that want a softer look, black can just look so harsh on more mature people and sometimes younger women want to have a more subtle emphasis of their features. IMO a brown eyeliner is essential to a makeup artist's kit.
