Brush method with sculpting gels

Has anyone used the brush method rather than the floating method with sculpting gels and if so does it have the same effect.

what do you mean by brush method?

The only way I know of applying gels is to 'float' them or 'tease' them into place, much like spreading icing on a cake so that you don't pick up crumbs......

With the overlay gels you place a bead in the middle of nail and then push back towards cuticle and then lightly stroke over the nail and I just wondered if you could do this with sculpture gels.

The sculpting gel is very think and has to be twizzled(very technical) and teased into place.
