I am in the process of fitting out a new salon and am having a specific room for spray tanning.

As the room is very small, I am having waterproof sheeting (the type you put in a shower) fitted to the walls at the rear of where my client will stand so that it'll be dead easy to clean. I want to build in extractor fans into the sheeting which will vent out of the building but am not sure exactly what type of fan would be required to ensure sufficient ventilation?

Effectively it should look like the type of salon extraction unit that Fake Bake offer however at a fraction of the cost.

Does anyone have an idea of what type of fans these companies use in their units and what the minimal standards are as such?

Thank you in advance xx

If your using the right equipment on the right settings you won't need any extraction.

Some machines just create too much overspray thats not only bad for the lungs but an awful waste of money.

I have recently been doing up to 25 tans a time in a small hotel room with no extractor fan and never got any overspray where other tan techs has caused the fire alarms to go off.
