Ahead of Olympia Beauty later this month, BABTAC have announced their Innovation competition shortlist. The ten semi-finalists are all in with a chance to win £8,000 if their beauty industry idea is considered to be the most innovative and exciting.
BABTAC have said that they were overwhelmed by the volume of entrants and the range of ideas. Carolyne Cross, BABTAC and CIBTAC Chair says, "We have received a wide array of product innovations, treatments and services which stand to revolutionise the beauty industry. The presentations at Olympia Beauty are really exciting and will give a further insight into these aspiring entrepreneurs."
The ten shortlisted semi-finalists are DIY Beauty, Faceframe, Glow App, Injex, Jagwa, Nuekie, Sanctuary Beauty, Specifics, Suhail Ugradar and Sweet Indulgences. All will be required to present a two to three minute showcase including a video presentation at Olympia Beauty. These will be judged on the day and will also be available online at BABTAC membership organisation offering insurance policies for the public vote.
By December 1st, four to five finalists will remain based on the decision of a panel of industry experts and the public vote and these finalists will present a ten-minute pitch live at Professional Beauty 2014, Dragon's Den style.
