Calus remover left on my finger now this! I think skin bacteria

Really worried about my finger as been a week and not seaming to heal.
I know I left callus remover on it by mistake..
Was all burned and cracked. Went down the nail and the skin crumbled away.
It's now really tight still cracking and throbs but has got better but not..
Any advice as worried its becoming a skin bacteria.
Do you think it's just burned and recovering?
Have a photo but I pad camera are low quality.

I think the best thing to do would be get yourself down to the doctors hun x

Honestly, its probably just healing its self, but you make a living with your hands so take a load off your mind and get it checked out!! smiles for you!!

If the finger was infected, it would be red throbbing and weeping pus or you would see the infection spreading. I would be using some type of ointment on it and a doctor is the best person to tell you which is suitable. Take the MSDS with you so he/she knows exactly what you have been exposed to.
